Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing credits work for EditorSYNC paid subscriptions and one-time purchases.

1. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment is collected.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the period ends, and no partial refunds are issued for unused days within the current period.

3. Refund Eligibility

If you are charged after your trial and believe the charge was in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge. We review requests on a case-by-case basis and may issue a refund where appropriate.

  • Duplicate charges: automatically refunded.
  • Accidental upgrade: refundable if reported within 14 days and no significant usage occurred.
  • Technical failure: if a confirmed platform bug prevented core service use for an extended period, we may issue a prorated credit or refund.

4. One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases (such as Mux overage charges or marketplace boosts, if offered) are generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered. Contact us if you believe a charge was processed in error.

5. Founding Member Lifetime Discount

The Founding Member lifetime discount is tied to the specific account that earned it. It is non-transferable and cannot be sold, traded, or moved to another account. If the account is terminated for abuse, fraud, or a material breach of the Terms of Service, the Founding Member status and any associated lifetime discount are void with no refund or credit.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email support@editorsync.com with your account email, the charge date, and a brief description. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
